She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Law in 2003 and was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar In January 2004. After Graduating from law school she went on to work for the Legal Aid Society in Humacao, Bayamon and Carolina districts for 9 years. In 2005 she was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Mrs. Rios has dedicated her whole career to the legal representation of the indigent population. She joined the Federal Public Defender team as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in 2012.
