Law Student Practice
The "Internship Program" offers students the opportunity to experience all stages of the legal representation of indigent defendants. The program takes them from the initial interview of new clients all the way to trial, sentencing as well as revocation of supervised release proceedings. Students are encouraged to participate in field investigations, visit local and federal agencies, local and federal jails and develop oral and written advocacy skills.
